Got my 2023 Area 51 XL about two weeks ago. I found this site looking for a way to use the cubbies in the bed. I'm sure there are a lot more tricks and hacks that you all can share. I know why they can't keep then in stock. My nephew who works for a Toyota distributor said it had the wrong logo. I am in SOFLA.

I'm going to copy your bed rug idea. Easy to remove and gentle on items. Thanks.

In the lower half of my bed cubby I store cargo straps and bungees. In the top half, I keep a package of three rechargeable LED roadside caution lights.

When I added my 12V and USB power ports, I did so using a housing that mounted on the outside of the cubby door. I did this to save interior space in the cubby, Instead of space being lost to the backside of the two electrical components, I have only two wires running through the cubby.
