Has anyone installed a roof rack and used it for a surfboard?

Hello,

I am still waiting on my Ford Maverick hybrid, but coming from an F150 I realize that I'm going to sacrifice a lot of cargo space. I got to thinking about a roof rack to haul my 9' epoxy surfboard. Will a roof rack be able to handle something this long safety? Anybody have any experience with roof racks or pictures?

There has been folks on here with the yakima cab racks and big ass kayaks on em. I wouldnt even be worried stacking a couple SUP boards up there.
