Love my Mav ('24), my GF loves hers ('22).
However the Bluetooth phone audio comnectivity is donkey balls. (The BT music connectivity is fine!!)
Lotsa drop-outs, reconnections and then 'dead' - the call is actually lost!
This is the WORSE BT connectivity of ANY BT product I've ever used (most everything is simple, transparent and connection stays nailed up reliably).
I believe I've done a remote FW update some time ago plus whatever updates were pushed during a dealer visit awhile back.
I belatedly saw a Ford msg to me - lovely people, sincere - about taking it to a dealer. I'm VERY confident a dealer does NOT have a Bluetooth analyzer etc and it will be a yuge waste of time: I don't think they can capture lowlevel Bluetooth audio info that a Ford embedded firmware engineer could use to fix the issue for an update!
I'd be happy to work directly with a Ford engineer, including even driving around with a BT analyzer to capture issues.
In the meantime does anyone have a recommendation for a good BT speaker/mic that can gracefully fit by or on top of the LCD screen?
