Hello all, I have recently placed a order for a 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD in the Lariat Trim. Eruption Green was my color choice. Hoping to lurk around the site and get some ideas for the truck while I wait for it to be built!

*Edit* Also forgot to mention I did add on the 4k tow package otherwise the truck is just a base Lariat Package.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of good info is shared. I think the MY25's won't start getting built until Nov timeframe??? Ford trys to send updates every 45 days. Your actual production will vary depending on your dealers allocation, the build specs, fords supply of parts to meet your build specs, all kinds of awe-shits can hold it from being built. Then some get built fairly quick. History seems to be luck of the draw. Think you will love the little truck once delivered. Love my MY22 EB AWD Lariat.

Thanks! I figured it would be awhile before I heard much on the truck as this was my understanding already. Was kind of surprised based off what I have seen in the confirmation email thread about how long it has been since I ordered though without seeing a confirmation.

Either way I look forward to the truck. I drive 100mi a day for work and right now have a 2018 VW Sportwagen. It works great with snow tires it handles the winter weather ok. But I now live in a northern part of the state that gets more snow than where I lived when I got the FWD low ground clearance wagon. That coupled with the fact of how far I drive and how early in the day frequently the roads are not plowed.

So happy to see they are now offering a hybrid in AWD and looking forward to hopefully not losing too much highway MPG from my VW. That said even with the small bed the Maverick has it will be an improvement for me when hauling cylinders in for rebuild or picking up parts orders for work and not having to shoe horn heavier objects up under the boot lid of the wagon.

Your expectations are excellent and if you get it earlier then they exceeded your expectations! Lots have expected it to be like ordering from Amazon, when reality sets in then they moan groan and bitch for a year

Haha fortunately for me I have both the experience of ordering a car before to lean on as well as a fully functioning vehicle to get me by while I wait. I will admit I am not looking forward to having a car payment again after being free from it for the last 6 years nor the interest rates that are "good" now.

One thing I am disappointed in straight out of the gate is the fact that with the Lariat you are forced into a 19" wheel. I fully intend to run light duty AT tires once the factory tires expire and not many options for this in a 19 that will fit without a lift.
