I must've missed the part where Granger wants $1000 non-refundable deposit. I'm not sure about that.. the Maverick will not be a tough sell. I decided to go with Chapman after all.

I'm not concerned about those fees, $10 and $45-50. It's a $25,250 build.

I got my order confirmation from Ford today.

That Co. stealer description is vague, doesn't even mention which model, XL, XLT or Lariat.

Paging through craigslist occasionally I note Carvana lists 2 year old cars at new list price, can't see how they got so big...

The window sticker is listed as an XLT with MSRP of $28,535 after delivery fee. HOWEVER... There's no VIN attached to it. They are just kidding themselves, or they found the best customer willing to do whatever it takes to get a vehicle that's not even scheduled for build yet.

Dealers are in the driver's seat right now. Do they care about their reputations? Highly doubt it. Just find one that doesn't suck so bad.

My dealer allowed you to access window stickers on Bronco Sport vehicles on lot and ordered. This week the stickers disappeared from web site. Guess what - Additional Dealer Markups ???

I suspect the same,with the sales of the hybrid killing the eco boost Im sure there is going to be some price adjustments along with mark up

Lithia Ford Boise did not have their Maverick marked, but told me that they had a $2000 dealer markup. I told them I would order from a place offering invoice and the salesman tried to play dumb: "What do you mean invoice? Like the sticker price?" "Nope, less than MSRP by a few hundred dollars." "Well, we can't do that, but we might be able to order you one without as much markup." "No, I will be ordering over there."
$2000 may not be as ridiculous as some, but pretending not to know what invoice was pissed me off.

Scumbags. You shouldn't have to negotiate anything down if you ordered it. If they don't sell it to you for what they originally quoted walk away. I would be writing a nasty email to Ford corporate, right now. I would be posting here and the Maverick Facebook forum as well as Maverick chat. I would go to Twitter to Mike Levine s feed and post it there also.
