Got my Maverick! I haven't enjoyed owning a new vehicle as much since my new 1973 SAAB 99 way back when...

Oh yeah!

Picked up my Maverick Lariat hybrid on July 29. I only have 300 miles on it, but I already forgot about my prior car, a 2014 Ford Fusion hybrid, which I always liked and had served me well. But the Maverick! Love it already. I'm even getting better mileage, 42 mpg mostly local driving on country and suburban roads.

Put the tailgate assist on yesterday and this morning I'll install an Extang Trifecta 2.0 soft tri-fold cover. Gotta get that done before the NC heat/humidity gets unbearable! Cover installed...final photo.

Oh, and Hot Pepper Red...for those of you who think it's trendy or "showy", People around here who see it agree with me that it looks great. Chocolate and vanilla, ya' know!

Nice Color! Already have 200 miles on mine. Doubled my gas mileage coming from a 2004 Dodge Ram with the 5.7 Hemi!

Looking sharp! I have the same trim and color, but AWD Eco instead of Hybrid. Only averaging 25-26 MPG (about 50/50 city/highway driving) but the acceleration in this thing is fun. I upgraded from a Subaru Crosstrek, so 150 -> 250 HP. Considering I got around 29 MPG in the Crosstrek I'm happy. I just passed 700 miles in 3 weeks but I've been driving a LOT more than I usually do. I usually average less than 8,000 miles per year.

My dealer's service loaner - F150 Lightning 🤪 I did get to drive it around the lot when I picked up my Mav...

I do like the HP Red, if I get bumped and lose Velocity Blue then its an option for us. I generally loathe all forms of grey/silver. Black is ok on a very fast car and white is fine on a Challenger or Lincoln but beyond that give me bold colors and forget the fake pastel colors, were not fingerpainting in preschool anymore.

Please report back. :)
Love it so far and fantastic dealer experience! Love the XLT interior and it seems very comfortable to me. I'm 6,1 235lb and can fit easily behind myself. Only thing is the rear view mirror seems low on the windshield compared to other vehicles I have owned. I got used to the hybrid breaks after about 10 minutes. Need to play around with it more tomorrow. My wife is also impressed with the interior. I will create a new thread sometime this week.

Excellent! I need to get a few more miles on ours before giving a full review, but I'm happy with it so far.

The rear view mirror will adjust up and down as well as normal adjustments (at least it does on the EB). I had the same problem at first, until I read about it somewhere on this forum. I moved it up all the way and it was perfect.

I feel the same way about mine. It may not make sense to be so excited about and satisfied with an "entry level" vehicle....but there it is. After seven months I still find myself cooking up excuses to drive it. Who'da thunk it? 😉
Beautiful truck by the way, and a big congratulations!
