Didn’t take much, trailer was ready, just a drop ball mount, and ball. I barely notice it’s back there. Along with my camper bin upgrade should make camping that much easier. Last pic is the bins and how they fit. Also a

Long term goal is term goal is a bed cap and me able to sleep in that when on my own (yes I fit my 5’5” self diagonally, lol) with a platform to raise it up and have my bins below.

Last pic is of the bins.

Ahh the memories! Bought my used Apache Pop up in 77' for $325.00. After thousands of miles and many mods on the camper sold it in early 90's for $325.00. My tow vehicle was a 77' F-150 until the wife got her 78' Fairmont wagon.

Consider the Air Topper when you look for a bed cap. I love the versatility. Look at the YouTubes. I’m 70 with a bad back and with some nice soft cushions in the bed, takes me about 15 minutes to set it up from unflated to installed. Sides are hard, uses paddle board inflatable technology. I plan to put a curtain from the top of the back portion to the end of the open tailgate so I don’t need t sleep sideways.

The Air Topper for the Maverick is $1200. This is made for the Maverick. There is also a lower version for the Maverick at $1099. Check at the company website flated.com. Everything is included even a pump. My daughter helped with the pump and only took a few minutes but I recently bought an electric tire inflator with a paddle board adapter. I haven’t tried it yet but it should work.

Out of curiosity what is the weight of your trailer? I’m hoping to get something in a few months.

Pics of the camper expanded?
Has two queen beds that overlap when folded. Other than that there isn’t much besides a little bit of storage. Pretty basic and it works for me. I’m a little over $2000 into it. Which is a lot for not much. But it’s in great shape, and I needed something bad for a 2 week road trip, and it fit the bill perfectly.

I want a hard top because of being in a populated suburban area.

I believe 450lbs, that’s what I’ve read. It’s tiny. Way below the 2000lbs the truck is rated max for.
See pics above of it expanded.

Managed to snag a matching Snugtop cap secondhand this evening.
