Was it the same air bag recall? Have the engine fire recall with estimated parts availability in October. Guessing the 13 or so screws holding the plastic plate will be removed and a new plastic plate with holes to let the oil drip out. Of course if there is a engine issue due to the bad part, one will hear the engine going and see the engine light before total engine melt down.

Yeah I'm guessing the air bag recall. I have the 2.0 Eco boost. I don't come to the site often didn't realize there was a 10 page thread on the recall gifts.

yes I got one. they are nice and almost fit in the Mav door. the stay foe a wile and then you closes the door and here a thud.

At first I didn’t think the roof liner looked right. The service manager took it back into the shop and had the tech go back to ensure it was secure and correct. So far no issues.

I would’t have spent the money on one because I already have too many water bottles but after using this one I’m totally sold on the value of the Yeti! I don’t use any other ones anymore. I even had a dream last night that I left it in a restaurant and nobody turned it in Love my Yeti Thank you Ford for my great Maverick and my Maverick Yeti!

My Wife loves her Yeti’s too but we already have a couple water bottles that we got at a car show and they fit perfectly in the Mav’s front doors. It would take more than that to entice me into doing the Air Bag Recall!!! Lol

No one should be hesitant to do the airbag recall. It’s pretty standard that a new headliner will need to be installed because the original one won’t fit back. There is a TSB for them to order a new one. I would recommend going over the whole interior with the service manager or take pictures so if anything gets scratched they will replace those pieces. The interior of my truck looks brand new with no scratches after some pieces were replaced.

I’m glad yours turned out ok but I’ve read too many horror stories on this site about these recalls!!! Our local Ford dealer actually advised us NOT to do the recalls on my Wife’s MachE!!
