Wanted to start a diary of all the things I have added or changed to Averic (that's the trucks name).
Welcome to my thread!

I brought Averic home on 10/31/23
Towed it 200 miles home and finally got it on the road 11/8/23 to start driving legally.

First 500 miles have been driven and I am extremely happy with it. I've never had this many features in a vehicle and love all of them. Wish it had one touch down AND UP on the window but I digress. Thank you Ford for everything else :D 🛻

On 11/14/23
Averic was debadged of its AWD tag and also removed the dealer logo.

Added the tailgate letters from Etsy seller.
Very happy with the MATTE BLACK.

I figured that you would only fill in the letters ERIC on the tailgate?

Added a few things to Averic

First I put some ditch light brackets (etsy seller) and then fitted a motorcycle running light with turn signal. I didnt want a fog or flood light. Really like the look of the small teardrop and will serve as a white running light with a amber turn signal inside. I then turned to the....turn signals.lol

Grabbed a set of Lasfit amber only bulbs and swapped them over. Worked right away with no fussing. And slapped a tinted overlay (also etsy seller) on the corner marker

Then added the matte black EGR window vent visors along with the hood deflector. I really like how easy it was for both to be installed. Instructions were clear but took a few minutes to gather what they meant for install. Smooth sailing 50 miles in.

Sidenote: the "horns" on the hood deflector are the spacers for it not touching the hood but we were messing around and I.......don't hate it. Adds a "little something". Lol

We did remove them after the pic.

I finally wired Averic's hood drl strip (Amazon everywhere) and the running light portion of the ditch lights.

I did not want these to be true "drl" as there is no need for this strip to be on during the day. So I found a keychain wireless remote relay (everywhere on amazon). Then wired it to the battery. I did this because sometimes you don't need that much light at night. I like to night ride, spot stars and time lapse stars while carving country back roads and deer spotting. As you will see in video it is convenient to have it on the clicker.

I then added mudflaps, long term I don't see them lasting long in New England snow. I am up and at work before most plows come down my street so I have to carve my own path. Lol.

Hey yall, it's been awhile. Lol. Glad to see you again. I went web surfing and found a @TrailFX drop in bedliner and the tailgate cover for $238.83 shipped to my door. Even with $50 for freight the deal is too good to pass up. Mind you, there is not a single picture of what this thing looks like from any website. I emailed and they replied back quickly saying they have zero pictures of what it looks like. So I click send and it shows up 5 days later and I rate it a 95%.

The good:
1. It dropped in like a glove, no prep.
2. It retains all the molded 2x4 gaps.
3. The holes for tie downs in back of the bed are aligned perfect.
4. The cubby holes on both sides are precut but was nice because I was able to unbolt my 400w left side, and cubby right side and then template the screw holes.
5. The bedliner covers the 12v power sources at the back. I like this because I have no purpose for them. I can always cut with a oscillating saw and a putty knife later.
6. Its durable as heck, i put a heat gun to it and it budged very little.
7. The very front of the liner sits on top of the bed lip. (If you dont like that, you can always shave it back). I put a roll of velcro under to hold it to the truck and then ran a bead of silcone over the lip. (Pic below, prior to silcone)
Ford Maverick Gonzo's Carbon Gray XLT AWD 20240908_140632

The bad:
1. The front tie downs are only accessible from the holes that are cut out in a circle instead of the 2 holes for the tie down. (Pic below)
Ford Maverick Gonzo's Carbon Gray XLT AWD 20240908_111851

2. The left side power inverter had to be trimmed ½ inch bottom left of inverter frame to fit the molded part of the liner. I tried on the liner to put some heat and gave it full beans while pressing but there wasn'tany give. The area shaved off does not affect bolt hole area.
Ford Maverick Gonzo's Carbon Gray XLT AWD 20240908_111909

3. If you have the bed rails, you will need to drill for that but the circle cut at the front of the bed may not be to your liking (picture below for reference)
Ford Maverick Gonzo's Carbon Gray XLT AWD 20240908_111851

4. The very front of the bedliner sit's on top of the front bed rail. I would have liked to see a flush to the top of the rail.

Hope you guys like it. And if you dont plan on getting bed rails, this t What do you think about? Honest opinions only.

Back again, this time with a craigslist find. I was crawling craigslist for a tonneau cover and came across a Rough Country hard trifold tonneau. For $200 I could not refuse the find. I picked it up and installed it with 24 hours. It fits nice and does seal all the way around. It started raining right at the end of install. If you find one, buy one. Including my trip meter in case your curious of MPG there and back.

I see the listing is still up for it, if I would have seen it I would’ve made the drive for it haha. I’ve been shopping around for the flip up version of it, and have almost pulled the trigger for a new one twice now. Great buy!

I would recommend you to snag one when you can. I was finding nothing near me so I expanded the search and glad I did. Surprised he has the ad up, maybe he doesnt know how to delete it and will wait for it to expire? Lol
