Well, I'm a retired ASE Master Mechanic from PepsiCo. I started working on cars at age 12 and had the go fast bug. I've worked on and included heavy trucks and equipment. A true Ford guy; I have 3- 1966 ford trucks, 2- 79 F250 trucks, One 1985 Bronco 2, a 1985 F150, a 2014 F150CC 4x4 with a 5.0, a 2016 Escape and a 2024 Maverick Hybrid.
Just sayin!
I have been experiencing a battery issue 12v, Test it and it shows bad, 11.9v, retest it and it shows need charge, 12.4v. the truck goes into sleep mode and sends me a notification and remote start using app will not function. ford service people state : it starts right up! Really, it uses the hybrid motor to start and the hybrid battery. the 12v battery is just for the electronics.
