Fuel Pump Light

So, on my Hybrid a image of a fuel pump with a circle with a slash comes up while driving. Gauge shows over half a tank. Can't find any info on this anywhere. Anyone have any idea what the meaning is? Running on electric maybe? Thanks.

Hmmmm, you may have to go to the dealer since it appears Fuel Pump Reset looks like it is used whenever there is a need for fuel shutoff (e.g. some accidents, or rollover).

Also the Owner's Manual shows Underhood Fuse Box (pg 291) in slot #80 for Fuel Pump 20A fuse (pg 295).

Yet, I would have the dealer look at it JIC something goes wrong, Ford is liable under vehicle warranty in case something is amiss.

That's, not what I'm seeing, the fuel pump icon has a small circle on the lower left side with a slash through the circle. Thank you for your reply.

Not easily, I don't use my phone for the net, I'm on a desktop. (I'm a old Dude!)

In addition, it only comes on when I'm driving.

It makes it sound like the fuel cutoff is triggered, but it still drives. So I'm confused.

Not to make fun, I just thought it funny how you said it.

A pic (no matter the exposure) would prove helpful for the group since the gauge descriptions in the Owner's Manual are not quite clear enough since all, if not most, are describing Gas or Hybrid and not XL/XLT/Lariat trim levels, like other manufacturers.

If it's on the same side as where you fuel your Mav. then it's possibly that indicator!

Seem to recall it was determined on another thread that particular icon is an indicator of time (or maybe it was mileage) of electric operation (circle w/slash and pump symbol signifying Not Running on Gas) and not a warning at all.

I get the one on the left but it indicates All Electric or the pump with circle but not at the same time. confusing right?
