Coming back to FORD after my beloved Focus was totaled (I was not at fault)…been a fan my entire life. Kind of amazed we don’t have a “Fords you have loved” thread yet. I’ll go first. Dads 1964 Falcon Delux Sedan Delivery- one of 97 made and at one point, the only one that moved but it is far from original

Gotta add a few more- my wife’s 1964 Falcon Futura which she did the V8 conversion on (140 I6 to 302) with some guidance, and my 1965 Wagon. We both drove these cars daily for ten years, 60 miles a day.

Back in 1970 I had a '65 mustang coupe, it was 6 cylinder with rare factory 4 speed. Pics have been lost to time but my buddies and I had a lot of fun with it; lived in the gulf coast of Florida back then. Burned the clutch out in it coming back from the beach one time. LOL

Sold it in 1972 for $365. Yup, that's all I could get for it back then and it was in good shape.

Sorry....grew up a GM guy....But I've own.... 1956 Fairlane, 1965 Galaxy 500, 1975 F150(390ci), and my latest which was totaled(my fault-kind of) 2011 F150 supercab(3.7ci V6) now this was a nice ride..When I first drove it, I knew it was the one. After I believed someones turn signal and pulled out in front of a Sherwin William paint hauling van. he hit me in the door...You couldn't even tell it was hit from the inside other than the door glass broke out but it was totalled... :( I liked that truck...

Bought a used 1968 Torino GT 428CJ (exactly like this one pictured) back in 1973 or 74 for $1,200. Traded it on a new 1975 Ford Granada coupe a year or so later. Wish I still had the Torino.

I’ve owned only one Ford 2014 F150 for a short 1 year and 40 miles as gas was killing me.

here is my history in order

91 Dodge Spirit - wrecked, not at fault. $1k

05 Nissan Sentra - lease, didn’t like it. $300 month plus $3k down and $2k in fees.

Kia Rio…no idea what year…trans failed at 60k and they wouldn’t warranty it. I is but this used for only $3k

08 Nissan Altima - loved it but the exhaust system kept leaking into the car after multiple costly attempts attempts to fix it. The transmission went under warranty. X wife ended up wrecking it. $10k

03 Chrysler Sebring - engine blew. Garbage $3k

2014 Ford F-150. Stated above 1 year and 40k miles. She was awesome. $all of it

Current ride 2011 Prius. Burns a lot of oil and rattles like crazy. I can deal with the oil burn but the plastic rattles are driving me up a wall. $10k

Stock photo, because I can not find any of my pictures of my Excursion. But I loved owning and driving this beast. 2003 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer same as the picture below:

It only got about 12 MPG, had a V10, but super nice to travel with family, all kinds of room.

My other fords I have owned, not in order and not sure about all the model years...

1975 Mustang II coupe with 302 V8 - One of my favorites, just because it was my first car.
1985 Ford Bronco II - Second Favorite - first new car and I really liked driving it.
1984 Tempo 2 dr 5sp
1987 Ford Ranger - One of my favorites as well even without AC. 4cyl 5spd reg cab
1987 Ford Escort
1992 Ford Taurus
1987 Ford F-250 4WD w/6.9 Diesel - I loved this truck. it was a beast. nicknamed "BUT" (Big Ugly Truck)
1996? Ford Explorer
2001? Windstar mini van
2001 Ford Escape
2001 Ford Taurus
1997? Ford Escort
2007 Ford Taurus
1996? Ford Econoline Conversion Van

I think that was all the Fords. My dad retired from Ford and 2 brother in laws worked or still works for Ford, so it was in the family I guess.

Non Fords:
1980 Buick Skylark, my wife's first car
2006 Kia Rio - Still use it for commuting, was one of my daughter's first car.
2013 Chevy Sonic
2014 Dodge Journey - Wife's current car

I may have missed something....

My family has always been a Ford family. My entire youth was spent in a plethora of Ford Escort LX's and GT's.

My first car was a 1995 Ford Escort LX. My second car was a 1999 Ford ZX2 Sport. My first truck was a 1991 Ford Ranger. My dad's current truck is a 1992 Ford F-350 diesel.

Pictured below are some of the Escorts my parents owned (not the exact ones, just images to give an idea)

In high school I got my first Ford. A 1964 Galaxie 500. It went through points like candy but I got to the point (pun intentional) where I could change them on a dark road using a beer pull tab I'd find on the side of the road to set the gap . (those tabs were everywhere back then!) and could change the flats like a indy pit crew. Never saw a gas station it didnt love, but the size of that back seat more than made up for any problems !!!

I have owned two Fords that I remember. A 2005 Focus, recently stolen and destroyed. And a Mondeo, which is a European model, owned a bit more than a decade ago. I don't remember its year.

Both were solid cars, no complaints.
