Tim, watched Episode 68 last night - Transition Private Offer now understood. Thanks!

Since my dealer's assurances seemed to be less than 100% certain, and since that COVP requirement had me a bit concerned, I called Ford customer service earlier today. As many have experienced, my rep (Chris) also couldn't provide Priority #. HOWEVER, I feel real good after everything else he provided/confirmed for my transitioned Maverick XLT Hybrid order (Lux Pkg, SIBL, RSS, CP360, MRSW, 6DLBC):

- Estimated Week of Production: 01/02/23 (perhaps this implies Priority 02?)
- New VIN# 3FTTW8E36PRAxxxxx
- Maverick Transition Private Offer Program #: 38560
- Private Offer Certificate #: 1345xxxxxxxx
- Private Offer Amount: $2,750
- Expiration Date: 01/03/23 (But I was told it will not actually expire)
- Also informed that if I do encounter any issues, I should contact Ford Marketing Communication at: (800) 548-3212.

Regarding that COVP requirement for the Maverick Transition Private Offer, how the heck is that fair? How can the Customer be held responsible and disqualified from the $2,750 Private Offer due to their DEALER not getting the order correctly CVOP'd? This, even though the Customer had the order placed and even made a deposit? Compare that to the F150 Lightning where you qualify for a $6000-$8500 private offer simply for making a reservation and putting down a refundable $100!

Again, will the student and the military discount work with the transition private offer?

What a pain. This is what my dealer says about looking up a private offer…..Tim must just be totally wrong…LOL! (I know he is right). I spent 35 mins at the dealer and they could not do it and then asked them to follow up and this was their reponse. If anyone has dealer specific instructions I can provide them I will do it (they hate me now anyway). I have found with some discussions they have done everything correct so far as we have a priority 2 ‘23 order.

OK. Here is what was preventing me from getting my private offer:
I had messaged with Tim about my issue and made sure I had all of the "boxes checked" ;) Verified that my approved COVP was submitted with my original order back in 11/4/21, and another when I had to reorder on 9/15/22. My sales manager finally got hold of a "real person" after being bounced back and forth about who would have info on that from Ford corporate. Now get this: The reason I never got my private offer was because my original order listed my street name as ......Trl, and my new order listed it as .......Trail. The USPS will correct the address on their site to Trl if you spell out Trail, so why can't Ford figure it out!! Anyway, it took a "real person" instead of the Ford order "system" to put 2 + 2 together ;) I now have my private offer from Ford :) If you are still having problems with yours, I would highly recommend that you work with your sales manager to ensure your two orders match up "EXACTLY" on your name and address, or your offer will never come. Hope this helps some of you out!

The only potential issue now is that the offer certificate says "must take delivery by 1/3/23" and my truck will not be delivered by that date. Hopefully they will accept it as long as my "order" was approved before 1/3/2023, and is "supposed" to be built the week of 12/5/22 ;)

@fordvideoguy what about changing trim levels? I ordered on 9/17 with an XLT Hybrid, then that following Monday (while order banks were still open) changed to an XL as I found out that cruise control was standard.

I’m not reconsidering and possibly wanting to change back to the XLT and add the luxury package.

Is it possible for me to switch now? Will my sales code, order code, or priority code change?

By making the change do I risk Ford scheduling me any differently?

Thanks in advance for all the info that you put out, I follow your videos closely as you always have the best info.

If you change your trim it will affect your ordered date to the day the change was made. Sometimes the priority get defaulted back to priority 19 but the dealer can change that to anything between 10-19, 10 being the best. Orders are looked by priority first, then order date along with the configuration of the order.

I think I may be having the same issue with my transition offer as it’s not showing up in my account. Who would know how to check and correct this? Would it be the dealer or someone from Ford corporate?

Dealer needs to contact their Inventory Specialist.

Tim, Had a 22 Hybrid scheduled order that was cancelled by Ford and rescheduled as a 23. My 23 order is now scheduled for January but my dealer refuses to verify the $2750 Transition Private Order. Who can I complain to at Ford to get the dealer to verify PO?

He is live right now if you want to ask in-person. Haha.

I'm in the same position. I have spent months trying to fix.
