I love these loaded questions that leave room to drive a Mack truck through... Technically you can say, well we said we didn't have one big file on you. When the data is a product of many servers, services, and is a collated product of search. LOL It should be obvious to consumers, but apparently not. I guess GM is getting slapped around again for collecting and selling your data AGAIN. Ford is on the defensive... No, of course not, we don't do such things.

The LexisNexis Risk Solutions for Ford Telematics would disagree.

https://risk.lexisnexis.com/about-us/press-room/press-release/20210909-ford-ubi

Even if Ford has changed/modified that prior contract, there is an entire industry built to collect/sell/share your data.

Makes it harder to collect/track/share/sell your data if you never install (or uninstall) the Ford Pass App and pull fuse 11/12 (Telematics Fuse) from under your glovebox.

Even if Ford assures they currently don't share/sell your data, it's still collected in perpetuity by Ford and they can change their policy anytime without your consent.

And, if you want to opt out from Lexis Nexus using your data, here is a link to their opt out section website:

https://consumer.risk.lexisnexis.com/

There are also better links on that same page for a full opt out and delete my data if you live in certain states:

Certain states grant their residents options with respect to their personal information. If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Virginia.

If you live in one of those states, you should use the link for your state on their page, as you get more privacy options to submit.
