I think the most important of the criteria will be the impact that the truck makes on the market. The Maverick hybrid is hands down the runaway victor when this is considered. The fact that the Mav is so clever in design, so useful and functional, so accessible to an incredibly broad spectrum of buyers, so appealing regardless of age and income class, and crazy cheap to buy and operate, make it the winner. None of the other contenders can compete when all of this is thrown into the mix.

That Hummer EV is so big, it needs its own nuclear power plant to charge it!

Rivian won. Boooooo! 👎

I'm sure its a great truck, but who cares about a great truck that only a handful of rich people are buying as their third vehicle? That's not impactful, and is just elitism.

Its like arguing that the Tiger II is the tank of the year of 1944, when they only made 112 that year versus the T-34 produced in the tens of thousands.

My thoughts too.

I suppose there are some out there that will buy one, but I'm sure as hell not the target market.

If I had 73K to spend on my truck I'd still buy a Maverick. Actually I'd buy a pair for my wife and I. Even two loaded with all the goodies I'd have a hard time not coming in less than one standard package Rivian.

lol.... and they wonder why no one cares about their awards any more....

I'm sure, when they realized they actually could NOT fit a bicycle in a Maverick door pocket like they indicated, it was the Maverick's fault.... 🙄

What a bunch of clowns.
