OK, here is the million dollar question. Will the FITS kit be in my truck when it arrives, or the dealer have to order it after I take delivery? We shall see...

The question was whether it would come with the new vehicle or have to be ordered by the dealer. I read this excerpt from the notification email as indicating the kit won't be in the vehicle, rather would be recieved after delivery. So yes...what indeed would one do with the accessories sans Maverick?

Probably some people would lose/misplace them sans Maverick LoL

I don't know how they will be provided to us, but I'm guessing they might be with the truck at delivery since the original poster @jsouth33 said Ford was updating dealers on this.

Some dealer accessories are sent ahead of the vehicle to parts dept (assigned to VIN) Some are sent with the truck. Well have to see who gets one first lol

Is Ford playing the ball-in-the-cup game? The ball is somewhere in one of the twelve 2022 cups; which cup (month) will it be in... Plce your bets now...

I ordered mid-to-late June (Lariat Hybrid) and received a 'scheduled for production the week of December 13th' email yesterday with a VIN number...

Then today, I received the free FITS accessory kit email.

Just replying to add to the list of people tracking when emails are sent out.

PS. I never 'reserved' a Maverick on the website, I just emailed my local dealer and placed an order directly after negotiating a purchase at invoice. After watching all of Tim Bartz's videos I was worried that I was supposed to reserve it first or the order would not go through, but it seems that everything is fine since I received a VIN.

I am sooo happy!! Just checked my email from yesterday(21 OCT) and got the message. Thank goodness I can wait!! I ordered 18 June .The freebies are nice but I am glad to hear from these guys.

It says they will start arriveing January

I believe that those who have a scheduled production date received the one stating:

"Your new 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid pickup will be on its way in a few short months, with initial Hybrid deliveries expected to start in January. "

No one is getting a hybrid until at least January next year. Maybe yours will be built in December but your not going to see it this year.
