I got mine tonight!Same here. Let's hope we both get that "built" email.
The news release only specifically mentions the Bronco Sport and not the Maverick. Since they are built on two separate lines, it could be either one of them or both that's affected.I guess this might explain why some folks with builds originally scheduled for next week got shifted.
Ford to suspend production for two days at Mexico plant on material shortage -union
None of this prevents a Ford executive from keeping Bronco / Maverick buyers up to date. You're buying a new model truck in the middle of a pandemic with a labor and part shortage that has never been seen before. The Bronco's issue is related to their supplier for their MIC tops along with waiting for chips.
I just don't get how this is "sketchy". It's just the unfortunate world events were in right now
Not just Ford, all manufacturers use just in time parts delivery. This Ford's "just in time delivery" in action. Saw it when I worked for them. No stock in inventory and if the truck, train, or ship is late, stop the line and send the workers home.
Not exactly true... My company manufactures various stamped metal parts for the auto industry (and others). We do not ship directly to the OEMs, but to distribution warehouses. When Ford or others want parts they "generally" order them from the distribution who has the inventory on hand. If it is delayed form there is another story..Not just Ford, all manufacturers use just in time parts delivery.
I'm waiting for my Built email too!!!Same here. Let's hope we both get that "built" email.
Nice to see someone around here gets it and doesn't pout about it....You're buying a new model truck in the middle of a pandemic with a labor and part shortage that has never been seen before. The Bronco's issue is related to their supplier for their MIC tops along with waiting for chips.

I bet you that's your family and friends will not believe how cheap your got your truck for.Tonight my tracker changed to in production and window sticker pop up.
Green is cargo. This could be container ships or bulk ships that could be carrying grains, ore, etc. This is why. Green is container ship, Red is tankers.
That's a pretty interesting graphic. This is why. Green is container ship, Red is tankers.
