I took my first road trip yesterday and today in my Maverick XLT Lux with FX4 and Tow package. I won't bore everyone with a lame video but I can say the interior feels bigger than my Fusion Hybrid. It rides somewhere between a truck and car depending on the road surface (which I really like). I also towed my 18ft Bow Rider around my lake (about 4 miles total). Pulled fine and actually seemed to pull better in Normal and not Tow. Tow seemed to gear down too much. Here are a few pics of my gas mileage and the truck.

This isn’t a ding or anything. Just making sure you know and others know that the manual recommends not towing for the first 1k miles. If you know and don’t care that is completely fine. I also don’t see 4 miles around the lake hurting anything at all. Glad your enjoying the truck.

Your gas milage is in line with what I normally see on mine which is the same setup but A51 color. Usually get 28 to 29 mpg and like 31 or 32 highway.

I figure it's going to get a little better as it breaks in too. It only has a few hundred miles on it.

Having had two brand new 3.5L eco boosts (Expedition and F-150), I'll say my average fuel economy jumped about 3-4 MPG after the first oil change (which I did at 5,000 miles)

Tow Haul mode is intended to prevent lugging which can cause heat buildup in the transmission, potentially damaging it.

Nice Glastron! I've always wanted one. All years look great!
Are they good boats?

So far. I bought it used during the quarantine. But so far it's been a great boat.
