Couple more pics of the tires and the dogs…need to get a cap for the bed so they can come with us. They are leonbergers both about 120-130 lb and had plenty of room.

Killer look, can you turn tight without rubbing ? Interested to hear about road noise too. I have BFG AT2 on a 2500hd very quiet, but wear quickly and Wrangler Duratac on a Sequoia that is unbearably loud, but wear great. Not sure What to go with next, maybe Toyo open country. Mine will probably only see snow and dirt roads at most.

Been debating putting fender flares on. I kinda like the exposed look but not 100% sold either way. If you’re on the fence don’t get them the ones I saw in another post look a little big for this vehicle
Where’d you get the door decals at?
I’m spilt between Area 51 and Cactus Gray .💁‍♂️
Problem is someone said ,there is some green in 51 and some blue in C. gray!!

Very nice looking truck. Is it me or the truck looks higher up? Like the tires gave it more ground clearance

There are going to be issues with the Odometer mileage and Speedometer readings since 18" tires move further down the road in one revolution than 17" wheels.

The Maverick XL can only be built with 17" wheels on the "Build and configure" page on ford.com.

A hair less, actually. 15.25" radius vs. 14.3". But that's all nominal measurements. ATs are likely going to have deeper tread than an all-season.
they are radius will add 1 inch and the increase in width 265 will give a slight increase in height over stock wheel. That’s how it’s work in theory, maybe reality is different. However, crude observation of the measuring tape above looks to be slightly less than 30” probably slightly squashed by weight of vehicle
There are going to be issues with the Odometer mileage and Speedometer readings since 18" tires move further down the road in one revolution than 17" wheels. Usually when you go by the radar displays vehicles are 2 to 3 miles per an hour faster in your car display. Thus, 5 mph faster Will only equate 2-3 mph faster in reality.

The Maverick XL can only be built with 17" wheels on the "Build and configure" page on ford.com.

Wheel size has absolutely nothing to do with the speedometer readings. The outside diameter of the tire is what affects the speedometer.
However you what to spin this these 18" tires will spin less revs/mile and cause speedometer errors of 7%. This will result in the odometer being off by 7% in mileage driven and the Trip MPG values being incorrectly calculated.

I think the problem is you use the words "Wheels or Tires" interchangeably. Tire size diameter causes the speedo issue, not wheel size (ie 18")

Well we were out last night on the expressway and the MPH on the dash matched with what Waze was showing so I think It’ll be fine.

265 isn't diameter, it's width.
