Maybe he will clarify a bit, but this is what I predicted! Wait until October 5th/6th (after COVP/ROVP) deadline.Spoiler Alert - no Maverick MY23 scheduling this week.
Also no changing engine type at all... Even Hybrid to EB is a no go.Sooo.....sounds like he got the same batshit crazy low allocation numbers that the other dealerships have been reporting.... That is fun.
And 22s just started getting scheduled 11/14. Good luck.Spoiler Alert - no Maverick MY23 scheduling this week.
The 63 number is purportedly his allocation for the first month of MY23 scheduling. He did also mention they’re expecting to receive a bunch of MY22s in the coming weeks that should drive up their sales number, which then in turn should spawn more MY23 allocations. Also no changing engine type at all... I am still not understanding the allocations that they are giving dealers. They received a low allocation from Ford and then he is expecting the 63 mavericks (MY22's) they are scheduled to receive in the next month is supposed to materially impact that allocation for MY23's?
Nah he said the 63 were for next month to take care of 22 orders. I think he was saying that the 63 would be the basis for their allocation of 23 orders, which he was happy with, however he was not happy with what annual allocation of 23's Ford sent them. The 63 number is purportedly his allocation for the first month of MY23 scheduling. There are no more allocations for MY22, as no more MY22s are being scheduled. I think his ref to the 22 orders was that the 63 for the first month of MY23 scheduling would knock out pretty much all of his rolled over 22s.Nah he said the 63 were for next month to take care of 22 orders. So whatever allocation Ford gave them for the year must not have been anywhere near 63 per month after that. Because i would think he would be happy with 63 per month on average. There are no more allocations for MY22, as no more MY22s are being scheduled. The 63 will cover the MY23's at priority 10 for job #1 on 11-14. The December (and all subsequent monthly) allocations will be based on the two part formula discussed over a month ago with the potential to add 25% to last year's totals. Mavericks in the KC rail yard and in transit (from Hermosillo (via rail) directly impact allocations since sales aren't complete til the sign paperwork is filed. The 63 number is purportedly his allocation for the first month of MY23 scheduling. Sounds like fun, but I'm glad I didn't go this route with my '22.Hibernate until next year. Or go knock up a woman and see if the truck or a baby comes first. My money is on the baby.
The point of this post just rocketed over your headErr.. a baby costs a hell of a lot more than a truck, and in 16 years, they'll want your truck as their own, but you do you!
Seems to be a pretty simple premise to me. What to do until 2023 trucks are delivered? Hibernate? Have a baby? The point of this post just rocketed over your head
