I ordered a HYBRID XL on July 23rd, Co-Pilot360, Trailer Hitch Receiver and Factory Spray in Bed liner.
December 9th got email saying scheduled for production week of 02/07.
January 29th got email saying production date change to week of 02/21.
February 26th, email saying vehicle was built and estimate for delivery to dealer is between March 20, 2022 and March 26, 2022.
February 28th, email saying "Your new 2022 Maverick XL has shipped and is on its way!"
per "full history"
07/23/21 "in Order Processing" Unscheduled-Clean
12/09/21 "in Order Processing" Scheduled to Week (Week of Feb-14-2022)
01/28/22 "In Order Processing" Scheduled to Day (Feb-24-2022)
02/17/22 "in Production" Sent to Plant
02/23/22 "in production" at Body Shop
02/24/22 "in production" Trim Line
02/25/22 "in production" Produced
02/26/22 "in production" Released to Body Company (for spray in bed liner most likely)
02/26/22 "in production" Returned from Body Company
02/26/22 "Awaiting Shipment" Released
02/27/22 "Awaiting Shipment" Origin Received
02/27/22 "In Transit" Shipped Rail - Railcar #TTGX992338 12:08MT
02/27/22 "In Transit" Shipped Rail - Railcar #TTGX992338 13.08MT
03/02/22 "In Transit" Received at Junction Point (Union Pacific Railroad) Nogales, AZ 11:07MT (3 day train ride)
Per phone call today to UP trace, got message saying to be in Missouri 03/07/22 at 5:00PM
dealer told me should be going to terminal in Kansas City MO, downloaded then truck transport to Saint Louis area (who knows how long that will take)
Few things I found interesting:
Thought it quite interesting that on 01/28 that it was known to be scheduled for production on day 02/24 and that was when it was "in production" on Trim Line having started on the Body Shop on the 23rd
Build started on 02/23 (body), then 02/24 (trim line) and produced (built?) on 02/25
next day 02/26 to "body company" (for SIBL), same day back from "body company" (so no delay in SIBL) and Released awaiting shipment (all in same day!)
**my thought; so much for any delay for SIBL
Released for shipment on 02/26, on train and gone on 02/27 (that was fast!)
Across the border and in AZ on 03/02
Now the crazy part, think I'll sell it and order a Hybrid Escape, another long process I'm told.
Hope any of you find this interesting and helpful, good luck to all waiting for their Maverick.
