Well if that doesn't bring back teenage wildness I don't know what will. Where does a guy find a lot that big, with no poles for lighting and snow on it? Oh, and no one else doing the same thing.

That's one thing that sucks about Maui. No snow, hell I don't even think we have parking lots big enough for that sort of fun.

My hybrid is the first vehicle I've had which I've driven in the winter which won't let me have typical winter fun with it.

Having owned a few FWD vehicles in the past, winter brings eager parking brake assisted drifting & donuts. Tested out the electronic brake on my Mav yesterday. Looks like it's a no-go for this type of shenanigans. :( It seems like the brake won't remain set when the vehicle is moving and/or throttle is being applied. Unless I don't know the proper secret technique? If anyone having fun in the snow with their FWD has been able to do it, please share.

With this, the lunch tray method (no snow needed) isn't possible either. Sad.

That’s what school parking lots are for! Nice.

"Officer, I'm just learning how to drive in the snow"

lol.

There is a parking lot in town where I live and I'm almost 40 years old. Every year I "learn to drive in the snow" there. Plus, my entire driveway is pretty much ripe for snow rally ;)

Also, to anyone interested: YT Sam Albert Rally
(I love these "local" rally events. PNW is perfect for them)

Looks like a lot of fun! I'll be moving to snow country sometime this year and have a Maverick FX4 on the way and would love to try one of these. I'm curious what drive mode were you in? Was it the Slippery Mode, Sport Mode, Normal Mode? I'm assuming traction control is off?

Off topic, but I just had to say you have the best Avatar on the board. I just broke out laughing when I saw it.

Saw that and thought this guy's gotta be from Tennessee, Alabama, or Kentucky. Pretty much nailed it.

All fun till you hit that brick, barbed wire, or board with nails hidden by snow.

Or hit a divot and look like a idiot when you roll your truck. But hey, you'll get $117 in YouTube views so totally worth it.

I’ve not done any doughnuts in a parking lot with snow since me and my son did it in Walmart parking lot soon after he got his license lol. PS it was years after before his Mom found out.
