Looks bright. Any more pictures of the truck with them? Would like to see where you mounted the switch as well?!?
I'll have pictures sometime this weekend most likely.

I actually haven't permanently wired them yet. The harness is simply secured in the engine bay and the switch is just hanging off the steering column adjuster thing with a zip tie lol.

Is there enough clearance for no light to hood contact when opening the hood?
Per @ JJC, no interference with the hood. I had inquired about this before purchasing and he sent me the installation instructions, which show the hood open.

Here's a screen snip from the instructions, looks like a good amount of clearance between light and hood:

Nice. I ordered min a while back but haven't installed them. Got the pod lights for it and everything. I am planning to install simultaneously with my 2" lift kit, I just haven't felt like spending the money on tires yet haha. I think the pod lights will look better on it with a bit of a lift.

👍 agreed. I wanna do the lift too but can't convince myself to drop the coin yet. Did u go with the rough country kit?

I got the Ford Ranger Lifts 2" lift kit back about 6 months ago. Back then it was about $100 cheaper. If I were to get one now I would probably just go with the RC 2" lift or the 2.5" Superlift lift.

I ordered the JJC brackets and never received them. Etsy refunded my money but use caution.

I see there's a bracket for the ranger that looks like it bolts on to where the hinges for the hood attach. That's a good idea, I hope something like that is made for the Maverick.

That would be a better application. I'm thinking if anyone comes out with like bracket for the Maverick it would be Diode Dynamics unless they deal exclusively in lighting.

Diode Dynamics replied and said they don't have any plans to offer any yet, but that they'd pass on the request to their team.

If you want hood brackets...reach out to them to show them there's interest!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the HRG brackets. They wobble way too much. The metal doesn't seem thick enough, especially for my beefy lights. It's too bad...

Interesting idea. Yeah, I'd imagine the paint wouldn't hold up great with those.
It won't, and neither will the hood.
