Ditch lights brackets for the hood?

Anyone have a lead on any ditch light brackets for the hood?

I've had these in my cart for a while but havent pulled the trigger yet.

They dont look safe for the paint and I'd be worried if the hood can still open or not.

I've been patiently hoping to see more aftermarket LED solutions pop up for the Maverick

Interesting idea. Yeah, I'd imagine the paint wouldn't hold up great with those.

I wonder if 3M 8582 clear paint protection film would be sufficient?

I see there's a bracket for the ranger that looks like it bolts on to where the hinges for the hood attach. That's a good idea, I hope something like that is made for the Maverick.

Yep, that's what I'm hoping for.

Nope. They should be pointed slightly to the outside to illuminate the ditch when you're offroad. My buddy doesn't have much glare from his on his Ranger.

I haven't looked under my hood yet as I just picked my XLT up and now it's a blizzard with ice. I wonder if the mav's hood hinge is like the ranger? I will buy it in a heart beat. Want to get these before the deer start moving again.

Cant say forsure, but I would imagine these would fit directly or with some slight modification.

Can I ask what lights you have as well? I am looking at several and not sure yet.

Lights are installed. JJC brackets from Etsy and Rigid DSS Pro spots.
