I had ordered a hybrid XL in early November. At the time I was torn between that and an Eco AWD. Due to the hybrid delays, I called my dealer today and told him to switch to an Eco AWD. He called me back and said they were able to switch it to an Eco but could not select AWD. I told him to switch it back to hybrid, he said it wouldn't let him. They are now getting a Ford rep involved.
