Delays for vehicles delivered via convoy? (Remember no politics)

My truck is in production with a target build date of April 18 (hoping new constraints have no impact). I see that transportation is via convoy. I also saw this article this morning about delays at the border. Just when i thought there could be no additional hurdles to jump before i see my truck. This whole process has had more unexpected twists and turns than a who-dunit mystery movie.

This is a concern for lots of auto companies right now. You close to having it built so thats good.

Mine was built March 13. It was shipped March 23rd.
Was told would be at dealer April 4-10 by Ford.
I am still waiting. Now they state April 23rd.
It’s in Chicago waiting on convoy to dealership 102 miles away.
You can’t go by the estimates Ford gives you.
I could have driven there and back and picked up myself faster.

My sticker says transport is by Convoy. Do all vehicles leave by train or some come by Convoy?

The Maverick is built in Hermosillo Mexico, but it will cross the border in Arizona!

I don't think I would be comfortable driving in Sonora. Maybe with a full tank and no need to stop before Nogales. But I sure would be tempted to stop at the KFC in Hermosillo. Emmmm, spicy fried chicken.

Mine was supposed to be at the dealer on March 21. Still not there and the last information I got was it was in a yard in Delaware. Still waiting and no delivery date yet.
