Dash Rattle - anyone else?

I have a 2023 Maverick Hybrid that has had a rattle in the dash since the day i brought it home. And now it has a clunk in the front that sounds like it is coming from suspension. It is in the dealer now and they just called to let me know they can hear the rattles but can not find them and wanted to know when they can bring the truck back and if i would be ok with the rattles. Has anybody else had rattles like this

I would say 80% of the people here have the dash rattle.

Search on “dash rattles” or just “rattles”. Get a sandwich & drink, it may take awhile to cover them all. Somewhere in there you may find a solution for yours. Good luck. They can be VERY annoying. I know.

A lot of people have dash rattle. Mine is only when it's cold out. No bother taking it in... They won't be able to find the issue... Could be so many possibilities as to what is causing it... Seems it's a Ford thing. My old 07 Mustang GT I had to hit my dash hard to get it's rattle to stop for a while. It would eventually come back..

My main dash rattles were coming from the speaker grills next to the A pillars. I solved the problem with foam tape.

I’ve had a dash rattle or maybe more like sounding like my dash is loose since day 1. I’ve just accepted it. I have older vehicles that sound better rattle wise. If I cross a rumble strip on the highway it also sounds like the metal supports are not fastened to my dash. If roads or parking lots are smooth it’s quiet. It’s kinda embarrassing for a new vehicle.

I have a very specific clunk coming from my dash possibly behind the instrument cluster. Sounds like something is flopping back n forth. It started the second day I owned my 24 Latiot Tremor. I purchased it in July this year. It now has less than 1,500 miles on it. Very annoying.

I think it would be easier for Ford to add the rattles to the few Mavericks that don’t have them.

I just had the same thing. I’m picking the MAV up this afternoon. Been there a week looking for the origin. Turns out it was a poorly seated vent and flap. Wind and truck body movement caused this. Supposedly now is resolved . We’ll see. I’ll keep you posted. Hope yours is an easy fix as well. It just takes time to track these down.
