I have a 2024 Hybrid 2WD and have wanted to install a leveling kit since I ordered the truck back in 2022 (yes, it took a year and a half to get here). I dismissed the idea after reading so many posts and comments about CV joint issues from leveling kits. I don’t see these much anymore these days so my question is whether this is still an issue? If I install a leveling kit, is it a sure thing I’ll experience this issue? Has it been fixed or maybe the community has just accepted it’s going to happen when installing these and don’t bother to mention it anymore?

A second question: What is the actual height needed for a completely level look…is it 1” or 1.5”?

Your input is greatly appreciated.

I have a 22 XLT fx4 etc with Rough Country 1” front lift that I think gets it level. Other than being lazy to adjust the front lights, it looks better and drives the same. We’ll see what gets discovered in the future with wear and tear on anything.

I had a 24 Hybrid Lariat with the 1" Rough Country Level. No issues over 11 months, and it looked level with the rear. I have a 25 now and putting the same kit on it.

Keep in mind, the EcoBoost and Hybrid Mavericks have different CV axles. Supposely Ford has a newer part, but the 2022-2024 Hybrids all came from the factory with the same CV axles.

That’s very good to know…I guess now I have more reason to upgrade to a 2025 lol!

The redesigned half shafts can be installed much cheaper than ordering yet another truck. And if they go out under warranty, Ford will replace them with the upgraded parts, which are all that's available now.

See my other reply that I’ve had no issues, but lo and behold, at the dealer Saturday for an oil change, one of the shafts joints was leaking grease pretty bad. It’s under warranty, but I don’t think they know of the 1” inch lift (yet). I expect that to come up when they replace it when the parts come in.

Well, my 22 XLT fx4 has over 20k on it in two years of ownership. based on many other posts here, it may not be the fault of the 1" lift kit. There are many others with CV issues on the forum, most of which don't have a leveling kit. I'll post when the dealership does their thing to me...
thanks and nice ride!

I appreciate all the feedback. Good stuff. I guess I’ll just get the leveling kit and tires and deal with the CV issue when it comes.
