Anyone in the southeast CT area: I just got back from Valenti Ford in Mystic; they had 2 Mavericks in stock, and I was able to test drive the Carbonized Grey XL AWD:
Carbonized Grey: https://www.valentiford.com/new/Ford/2022-Ford-Maverick-3e7c72a70a0e09a97fb17999696f42de.htm
Iconic Silver (already sold!): https://www.valentiford.com/new/Ford/2022-Ford-Maverick-3e7c75450a0e09b0478894ffe200feab.htm
Let me just say: the XL is making me have doubts about my XLT reservation! If all that's selling me on the XLT is cruise control, I may just "downgrade" to an XL. The "base" model is incredibly nice, thought-out, and well-designed. The steelies look right and contribute to the utilitarian look/feel. The engine/AWD had some kick to it.
Sorry for lack of pics - it was dark when I finally got to test drive, but links above have 40+ pics each and much better quality than I could take.
Others have said this but I'll echo that Ford has an absolute hit on their hands - roomy, comfortable, capable, and stylish.
