I guess this is the correct forum!

No, I'm not interested in turning my [hopefully soon to arrive] Lariat into an off road machine, don't want to make the exhaust any louder, don't need a lift kit or suspension changes, not trying to make it go faster, or look faster, don't need any radio/audio changes. What I am is a contractor/handyman and will be on the lookout for anyone similarly situated that has added various tool, ladder, and other assorted items to their Maverick to help them with their job.

Fairly certain I'll need a set of racks, and a tonneau. Maybe I want to fabricate or buy a pull out truck-bed drawer. Maybe one of those built in tool boxes if they exist. So, if anybody has done these work-related modifications, I'm all eyes and ears, very curious to see what others have done or are considering. I have plenty of car experience, plenty of handyman experience but no specific experience with this truck or all of the suppliers that make things that may fit.

So if you have anything or have done anything, I'm curious!

I am a handyman landlord with a Lariat hybrid. I installed a revolver X4s roll up tonneau cover. I have a fold up ladder that gets me up on one story roofs and I would suggest you start there. I was surprised at how much tools and even long handled tools that fit on an angle inside that small bed. I also own a F-350 for serious hauling. I use the hybrid as my daily work truck and am pleasantly surprised at how much equipment is locked and out of sight in the bed. It’s as if this truck was designed for me!

Ha ha the back of your truck looks like the back of my Ford Flex at the moment! Everything basically piled in there!

From the brief image, I like the looks of your roll up—could you tell me a little more about it and where you got it? it looks a lot nicer than the tonneau my buddy has on his Maverick and a lot better than the ones I’ve seen on F150s

I got the Bak revolver X4s from the manufacturer who offered a nice discount to maverick truck club members. I believe I paid $970 plus tax in April of 2023 it was recommended on the MTC website. I am not disappointed. I live in Albuquerque and keep my truck garaged so moisture is not an issue for me. It’s rated to support 400 pounds but I have not tested it. Be careful unboxing it as I broke the corner caps unboxing it alone. The manufacturer sent replacements quickly with extra parts. I am happy with the customer service which is unusual these days. Be sure to ask for the MTC discount as it saved a couple of hundred dollars
