Part of the QC charges the batteries. The device used to discharge the batteries was misplaced and they are to dangerous to ship charged. So, they are sitting in the desert waiting for the charge to bleed off.

Monsanto filed a federal lawsuit that is holding up hybrid production.

In the lawsuit Monsanto claims that a hybrid is actually a GMO copyright infringement.

I canā€™t believe I just found this thread.

Ford is delaying Hybrid deliveries until Q1 2022 to manipulate their stock price. They already smashed expectations this last reporting season, and want to save some of the gravy for January. Itā€™s no skin off the dealersā€™ backs since theyā€˜re sitting in Mexico, and once 2022 rolls around theyā€™re going to smash expectations once again. Big bonus parties are to be expected for the C suite, with blackjack, and hookers.

So actually this is a all a circuitous plot to provide new jobs for hookers and casinos? #buildbackboners

This post really doesnā€™t belong in the Conspiracies thread because the following story regarding the delay on our hybrid trucks is based entirely on facts relayed to me through my sister-in-lawā€™s, ex-dieticianā€™s hairdresserā€™s son, who has this on-line, overseas acquaintance who read an article, (since removed) on sketchynewz.com.

Not sorry for this sentence fragment or the preceding run-on sentence. Knowledge can be painful. Alright, hereā€™s the scoop:

Itā€™s not the EPA, chip shortages, or other commodity constraints that are gumming up the works. Itā€™s Daveā€™s fault. You see Dave was caught one too many times working shirtless on the factory floor. He had this odd notion that it was bad luck to wear more than three items of clothing. His steel-toed boots were a must of course but this left him with few remaining options to cover the rest of his body. Anyway, he was given his ā€œtwo weeksā€ notice which proved to be a disastrous move on Fordā€™s part. You see Dave was in charge of stamping those sexy MAVERICK letters on the hybrid tailgates. Well upon learning of his impending firing, spiteful Dave switcherooed the MAVERICK letters to read I RECK MAV.

2 weeks and 80,000 tailgates later, Ford got wise and shut the assembly line down but the damage was already done. Now the plant is closed as they wait for sheet metal to make new tailgates with. I didnā€™t mention that thereā€™s a shortage of metal? My mistake. They were out of dashboard plastic molds as well but they solved that by just using hole saws to make rows of 17 drink holders along the dash because focus groups seemed to imply that the original amount of beverage storage options seemed insufficient.

So no Hybrid Mavā€™s for us this year. And no you canā€™t just request a truck with a Dave-gate. The mislabeled tailgates are all dinged up because the boys in the warehouse are entertaining themselves by playing forklift-jenga.

Such a sad reality we live in. Unfortunately I don't think Ford can possibly solve the problem by just replacing tailgates, they'll have to throw away the entire truck and start over. Dave's revenge runs deep, I bet they took his red stapler and moved him to the basement before he got let go too.

Ya know..... There's a whole lot more talk about actual conspiracies in the forum nowadays.... It's almost like Ford can't produce enough hybrids. šŸ˜³

Ford decided to pair the hybrid system with a diesel to get 60 mpgs hwy
Do you suppose some whipper snapper gamer figured out a dual action diesel engine that had enough HP to turn two or three generators, producing enough electricity that the transaxles has to be redesigned to provide additional over drive ratios so that 99mph pulling a 6k trailer getting 70+mpg will work?šŸ„°

There in no factory in Mexico.

Mavericks are made in China.

Our hybrids are on container ships anchored off San Diego.

You forgot that each Mav has 4 Chinese conspirators hiding in it to help invade the U.S. from within.
