Had it about 2 weeks now and 1000 miles. Sold my 98 F-150 that I rarely drove because of 10-13mpg…. Anyways Lobos have pretty good markdowns compared to the rest of the line up when I was shopping and up with a good deal( so I think)

So far loving it! The biggest gripe I don’t like at the moment is there is no keyless handle for the tailgate. Quite annoying having to fumble for the keys to unlock the tailgate. Might try getting the key pad and putting it back there somewhere.

So far I’ve ordered a few random interior accessories. So far these Amazon usb lights are my favorite. Link below

USBC
USB

Plan to get the Goodwin lowering springs, sway bar, camber bolts for the front and upper camber arm for the rear of its very off, rokblocks mudflaps, have some ford points and might get the illuminated door sills for kicks. Might do the full bed rug liner as well.

Currently have a camper topper Leer 100XQ sport on order. 16 week lead time. Just FYI through ford it’ll be $5250 with tax and install. Through your local leer dealer it should be right at $5000 - $200 for the holidays. The leer dealer offers remote lock unlock functions. Unsure if the ford one does or not.

Plus side by ordering through the Leer dealer is that you can add accessories. I ordered mine with the pop out and sliding cab window and ceiling hooks. The Ford one is just a pop out solid window only.

And yes it’s a lot of money for a camper topper and I should have gotten an escape etc etc etc. LOL. It’s mainly for the dog so it doesn’t smell inside and safer travels being in a crash rates dog kennel. it’s also nice I can throw dirty smelly shit in the bed still and not have to worry about securing it from flying away. For now Nigel will ride in the back seat or the wagon that had a crate Since it’s starting to get cold.

happy mavericking!

Installed some Rokblokz mudflaps.

Tips and tricks , the hardware they provided is a pita. The screws are much bigger than the clips they provided and ended up snapping two of them. In hindsight screw the clips beforehand on a vice before installing them. But either way the screw heads are hard to get any good force without taking the tires off.

Went to the hardware store and got some 6mm metal fender clips, and button head bolts instead. Use some electrical tape to cover the fender metal holes to help prevent scratching.

You’ll want 10 fender clips and bolts

4 up front (2 per side)
6 in the back (3 per side) In the rear you’ll want to remove the 4 (2 per side) lower fender clips and replace them.

Lowered my lobo today!
Installed the Goodwin racing Progress springs and sway bar. The height is perfect now. Still has a slight rake but I have a camper topper coming eventually.

Initial impression, very similar to the stock setup. Def a little flatter in turns and slightly less push.

In the initial post you mentioned the possibility of front camber bolts and rear upper camber arms. Were they necessary after installing the Goodwin spring? I see Goodwin now offers the Whiteline front sway bar end links. Did you retain the OEM end links? Your truck looks killer. After seeing your side profile shot I'm convinced Goodwin has nailed the stance.

I haven't added them yet or gotten an alignment. Currently all on the OEM links. The camber doesnt look too aggressive so I might just leave it as is.

I'll update when I get an alignment spec.

Looks good. How does it feel on your back? Can you feel every bump or does it cancel it out. Years ago on my TDi Golf, I ran Eibach/FSDs which was a perfect combo, handled great. After the FSDs rusted out and they no longer sold them for that VW, I tried something different and it was horrible. I'd like to try lowering springs but I don't want to get into that circumstance again. I'd have to ride in someone's truck to get an idea of how it feels.

honestly doesn’t feel much different to me since the lobo spring rates are high already. It also helps that the lobo shocks are different so there’s less chance of bottoming out.

For your reference

Goodwin Front Spring Rate 175 lbs, Rear Spring Rate 400 lbs

Stock (lariat, XL, XLT) is 148 Front and 338 rear

Lobo is 159 Front and 380 Rear

Played with my forscan. Turned off autostart stop, got global windows up/down with remote, note you have to enable it on the settings-vehicle-windows on the infotainment on the 2025 Lobo High, removed the seat belt message and reminders, bambi mode to have high beans with fog lights, last known position of the headlights, engine sound enhancement disabled. Only issue I am running into so the instrument cluster stays on longer than usual after shutting off the car.

Also used my ford pass points on the light up door sills.

Is there a way to turn it up? To 11?
Just kidding - I know there isn’t:(

Can you even notice that you turned it off? I know it is probably to soon to tell - but if you remember down the road, could you comment?

I was hoping the lowering springs from my 2022 Lariat would fit the lobo? I looked at the dealer and compared . They looked the same? Not sure?

what lowering springs did you get? I beleive the goodwin/progress, eibach, and h&r will all still lower the lobo.

according to Goodwin the progress lowers the lobo a little more than 1' font and 1.5" rear.

Measure from your center cap to the top of the fender and see what the difference is of both yours. the lobo also has shorter shocks

I have the H&R super sports. On the factory strut upfront. I currently have coilovers on my 2022. I'm considering buying a Lobo. Thanks

oh yea your wheels/tire combo is about 1/2" different than stock lobo. How do you like the coilovers?

If you are looking at '25 lobos. you should be able to get at least $6000 of MSRP mine was $6470 off MSRP for a lobo high.

I'm not worried about the tire difference, I might sell those wheels. That's a good deal on the lobo, but I'm thinking about the 2026 only because I kinda like the space white . But you're blue is nice as well.
