Check engine light

I picked up my New 2025 Maverick last week . The Check engine light is in the left side of the dash screen. It is highlighted in white but not yellow or red ,Is it on or just the way it is?

I am guessing you are not looking at a check engine light. You are looking at the gas engine symbol above the power meter.

You are looking at the power gauge and the white symbol that looks like an engine is not a "warning" but part of that gauge showing when the ICE (combustion engine) or battery is being used. I had thought the same with my 25 Lariat Hybrid. No need to worry.

Like the engine symbol in this photo? If you watch the bar graph it shows you are using the ICE.

I literally brought my 25 XLT Hybrid to the Ford service dept bc of this. I didn't point out to then what I thought was my check engine light. They told me a code did pop up but they cleared it.
