Well, I mean, if today's email is true, they're being very transparent.

I have never received any email about a private offer, but I called Ford Marketing and they told me it showed a Private Offer in the system. I may call back and ask for the Certificate # just to be safe.

Glad you have one!

I finally got in touch w the dealer. And they assured me that if there isn't a private offer that they would get it corrected.
I'm done worrying about it. Also the deadline is today. It is out of my control.
We can all just hope to get one and have the private offer honored

This would be the first Ford I ordered in 20+ years not on the A-plan. No local dealers were willing to place an order for me last year (they alll said they couldn't make enough profit) so I went with Chapman's below invoice price to avoid the local headaches.

Buying a new car is mentally taxing and overly complicated.

This is it for me. My first Ford - my first domestic brand at all - and my last. I hope I like it and keep it forever, but if I don’t I’m going back to brands that don’t seem to be ran by complete idiots.
