Ha - that will be fun. The Hybrid never meant to be fast the fact that it's not a dog is good enough for me!
Yeah lol, I'm just happy my hybrid wont be a slug. Not like I will be drag racing anyone.

And thats a great time for the 2.0!

I'm hoping their comment about engine buzz on the hybrid can be quieted down with an engine cover.

Figures the 4k would be faster off the line what with the higher ratio diff. Very nice to see the hybrid is no slouch either. Something for everybody.

"The front-drive-only hybrid has a power level better matched to powering only the front wheels. Its 2.5-liter emits more four-cylinder buzz than the quiet 2.0T, but it's not obnoxious."

Too bad they didn't get to do the performance tests for the hybrid. Somebody do drag and roll race between the 2 already! Can't wait!

They also said they got 29mpg on the highway and 21mpg observed. Does anyone know if they are calculating these MPG numbers themselves?

MT got 7.6s
Mr. Boom got 6.56
CD got 5.9s

Quite a spread...interesting anyhow

In this day and age I'd rather have 40 mpg than fast 0-60 time's. If I wanted fast 0-60 time's I would have bought the tesla.

I think MT got 7s for their 2.0. The hybrid got 7.6s 0-60 in the MT tests.

Also, yes I spend way too much time reading about Maverick stuff šŸ˜³

Lol, I canā€™t wait to read these comments between the overly defensive Hybrid and Ecoboost owners.
šŸ˜„

ā€œmy ecoboost will smoke you!ā€

-ā€œmy hybrid is almost as quick and gets 2x city mpg!ā€

ā€œI still hate your stupid hybrid maverick! FX4 rocks!!ā€

-ā€œidiot country person..ā€

It is pretty simple. Some people are only now getting a hybrid Maverick, even though they ordered in June. The question really is, ā€œhow badly do you want your Maverick right now?ā€ I know itā€™s not as bad as a Bronco order but still, thatā€™s why i cancelled a hybrid Maverick order and bought an ecoboost off a lot, I just donā€™t know how long it will take to get it. I feel bad for people who ordered a Bronco and still havenā€™t gotten one after a year and a half!
