I don't see why not. I have mine cut so they are fairly tight in the side bed slots. I slide them in the bed at an angle and then straight down into the slots. Hope that makes sense.

I actually used a 2x10 to give me extra height, but that caused an issue removing with my tonneau rails (truxedo pro x15). I ended up cutting the four corners of my divider with 45 degree cuts so i could still remove it.

I was thinking of that if it became an issue. Thanks

I just cut and hinged a 2x12. Notched the bottom corners so it would sit flat on the bed, put some extra weather stripping on the sides for a snug fit, and dropped a 5" fence rail bracket on top to hold it straight. Painted it black, and voila': custom divider that cost me less than $20 ;)

I did essentially the same thing this weekend. I had a piece of 5/4 deck board (about 5.5" tall) in the garage, cut it a little over 54.25", then cut it in half. I had an old door hinge in the basement, and used that to join the two pieces tightly together. Next I bought a package of two window clasps at HD ($3.50), and installed these on the opposite side of the hinge, which lock the two piece together. I had an old piece of foam pipe wrap as well. I slid the pipe wrap over each end and test fit in the bed. I trimmed the ends about an 1/8" until the piece fit snuggly into the notches in the bed wall with the foam in place, but not overly tight. I then attached the foam pieces to the ends with some staples, and the project was complete. I would recommend installing it with the hinge on the back (facing the cab) so items pressing on the board (like when you are stopping the truck) will be pushing against the hinges natural stopping point. Plus it makes it easier to get to the clasps. Finally, having it hinged makes it super simple to remove it you need to, and completely folded it's easy to store. Thanks.

Anybody remember what the creative (artistic) bed divider thread was titled? My searching can't seem to find it.

Nothing fancy. Just a 2x6 that pulls up and out on an angle.

You might try something like this, folds in the middle, easy in/out.

And takes up less space. I like the extra dividers.
