I would hate driving that in high winds.

Looked confident at 80 mph with 25 mph crosswinds. I ruined my hybrid's great MPG doing that. But I just had to get a good look at the camper.

I suspect this was not a hybrid because no hybrid owner would be able to stomach getting single digit mpg this guy must have been getting.

Exactly.
That would be tiny and cloustraphobic inside. I prefer our 4-person tent for the wife and I. If weather gets really bad, we can go to a hotel and/or out to eat with the many thousands of dollars saved vs buying a camper (and also the gas money saved). We prefer camping, though, and just avoid bad weather for the most part.
