Buy EcoBoost now and trade-in for Hybrid when mine arrives? Feasible ?

I may buy a Maverick XLT Eco-boost and trade it in when my Hybrid XLT w lux arrives (ordered 10.9.21). I need transportation now as I am renting a vehicle. Does anyone think I can sell or trade it in when my order arrives and not be too upside down given the current market conditions? Please let me know your thoughts.

I sold my eco xl for a 5k profit.

My only complaint I sold it a little early. My hybrid will be here end of next month.

The values of cars will start to correct in 2022 so just Becareful. These valuations won't last once the manufacturer catch up on the supply and demand will even out

I'm in the same boat, but because of a deer. I need to cover 3 months to get to delivery. My worries is being able to trade/resale for high enough to cover taxes. I might go buy a beater instead

The trick is finding one on the lot that you can buy for MSRP or less. If you can, heck yes do it.

That's part of the reason to pre order if your dealer offers good prices. Paying msrp +10k is money down the toilet unless you really need the truck RFN and the money isn't a problem.
