Good post, very interested to hear your ups-and-downs and the mechanical issues you overcame.
Well let's start with the issue of the battery terminal issue. Vehicle lost power at a red light twice in 1 day (1st time I brought it back to ford with less than. 1k miles) ford charged auxiliary to 100% (took them 7 business days to return vehicle)

When departing disco bay on the peninsula, car lost power doing 60 mph, going down valley and I used the rumble pads on shoulder since the brake system failed. I managed to slow down safely. Vehicle towed to port Angeles ford, then towed to Kent ford for repairs where I was given loaner for 2 weeks. I'm pasting a description from the invoice what was identified and repaired

The nut from the contact bolt heated up so much it changed color and melted the plastic holder tray.

I've now put 7500 more miles on it with no further issues that were mechanical related

Let's discuss this before I add the lows I've experienced with body damage and interior damage.
