After giving my Maverick a much needed bath, I topped it off by successfully installing my new Ford Accessories Bug Deflector. I've been meaning to get one of these for a while. I might as well do it now while the front of my truck isn't covered with rock chips or bug guts yet. This won't eliminate them entirely but it will serve its purpose. It came out fantastic. I'm very happy to have done it myself. Paying the dealer would've cost me so much more so I figured why not just watch a video on Youtube and learn how to do it myself? DIY videos are a blessing. As a result, it came out not too bad for a beginner. 😁 I did wax it afterwards so it stays nice and protected. Not only does it serve a purpose, it also gives the front end a more sporty look. I like how flush it is on the bodywork. It makes it look more like a spoiler rather than a deflector. Most Mavericks that I see have these installed anyway so why not join in? I don't regret it in the slightest.

I did mine last week after waffling between do I or don't I. I'm glad I did. It does look great. Enjoy

Do you notice any additional hood shake? Or was that just the Lund Aeroskin?
