Broken taillight lens

Has anyone had to replace a taillight lens on their Maverick? Someone backed into me and broke the passenger side lens. What do I have to do to gain access to it? Thanks..

Easy to access, 2 screws inside the tailgate opening, then pull back and out at about a 45 degree angle. It will be more difficult getting it to pop out the first time but then easier after that.

eBay has the cheapest prices I've seen, both OEM new and used. Would not get cheap aftermarkets, even with how cheap I am...

Since it's needed to change bulbs - it's in the manual.

REMOVING A REAR LAMP ASSEMBLY

1. Make sure the headlamps are off.

1. Open the tailgate to access the rear lamp assemblies.

1. Remove the two bolts from the tail lamp assembly. Then, carefully pull the lamp assembly from the tailgate pillar by releasing the two retaining tabs.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

They come in 3 different levels. Make sure to match up the OEM number on the back. A call to the dealer with your VIN will also tell you which one. I worked in auto salvage for years and sold aftermarket lamps. They are usually good replacements, but I ponied up for an OEM when I broke mine.
