Well it seems the cone has already separated on my B/O door speaker- Could be a rattle induced with bass issue but sure doesnt sound like it-

Question does the B/O system use the same door speakers as the standard option ? Also wondering to those that have upgraded the doors how much a volume/quality difference does it make ? May be heading to best buy soon-

30 is pretty good, i have run 22 on my B&O In the f150..

The Mav-17 is max so far on standard 6 speaker, it sounds good to me and is loud enough..

They do not use the same speakers as the base unit. That would make zero sense.

You probably have a defective speaker, not a blown one due to volume. Usually factory audio from premium brands will have a bit of protection built in.

With streaming these days - quality / volume are just so hit or miss. Kind of annoying. Just saying

Yes. With Spotify/Sirius I have to have volume over 22.
Using Tidal, 15 is sufficient, and sounds much better also.

Again - Streaming services vary greatly song by song - podcast by podcast. I listen to loud shit so will probably need an upgrade.

You might be right. Usually a torn speaker is considered blown but it's back n forth. Just rocked some Ice cube and it didn't flutter. May be an intermittent defective- Who knows but this truck is straight up awesome -)
