Best Forscan scanner?

Seeing quite a few on Amazon and FleaBay with varying prices. Any recommendations which ForScan scanner is the best choice for functionality and bang for the buck? Thanks

Thanks. Looks like Windows version has the most capability. I hope I can make it work with my 1 USB port Dell Venue Windows tablet. I may need a splitter or Bluetooth keyboard because I've been using that port for a wired keyboard.

Thanks, I read some more and apparently Forscan does not recommend the Elm327.

Yeah, I wouldn't bother with the cheapie ones that require physically switching between MS-/HS-CAN. Maybe back when the only option was the OBDLink, but the vlinker is only ~$30.

Pay attention to the software when it tells you to update the device firmware too. Couple posts about people having issues because they skipped that step or never got the prompt for it.

As usual us mac users dont yet have a version for us but i think im getting one and my grandson said he can take care of the truck.

I ended up going with this scanner also. It was considerably less expensive than the other recommended unit, and looks like it'll have all the features I'll need.

I have an old manually switched cable and it sucks. If anyone is on the fence, spend the $60 and get the automatically switching one.
