Avs bugflector because it covers fenders and isn't stick on . sits high enough off Hood to clean underneath it with a sponge .
Did you purchase from RealTruck.com or somewhere else?

Purchased from realtruck 18 months ago about .$40 with mtc discount . also bought undercover armor tonneau cover at same time for $900 . Had missing grommets on bugflector and ended up purchasing extras on Amazon because avs customer service was terrible . called and said sent . waited a week (no grommets) and called again hung up on me .

Looks great. I like the fact that there is no tape to deal with. I assume it will also protect against rock chips on the hood?

Love my truck but forgot how the windshield in a truck is a bug magnet. Any of you using a “bug deflector” that keeps your windshield clean? If so what brand and model?
They included one on my Maverick when I purchased it ( I DEMANDED IT) free of charge . Anyway it's the Factory Ford one and I really like it so far 👍 no issues.

Now that we've had spring and extra bugs - done enough driving at night to declare it's working as an actual bug deflector?

I like the look and the protection it provides for the front of the hood as far as deflecting bugs being it’s low profile and stuck to the hood I can’t say it’s as effective as I had hope for deflecting bugs from the wind shield I don’t think it disturbs the air flow like a raised bug shield would but have nothing to compare it too…

I bought mine with my Ford Pass Points for my ‘22 hybrid Lariat. It doesn’t have a raised lip like the early production, discontinued ones do. Those were discontinued for a reason, like causing vibration and flapping of the hood.
It mounts extremely strong with 3M double sided tape. You just have to make sure your hood is clean. I used the packet of glue enhancer. The key to installing correctly is to line up the deflector on your hood and use painter’s tape to hold it in place, then tape yoir hood around the edge of the deflector from one side of the hood to the other. Now remove the deflector and apply the enhancer around the inside edges of the painters tape and contact areas of your hood. This way, none of the enhancer will get on any other part of your hood. Now you can easily and safely apply your hood deflector. It will form a very tight bond with the hood. And yes, it will act as a deterrent to help reduce bugs on your windshield.

I want this one, but it has been discontinued. The claim is that the hump causes the hood to flutter at high speeds. I see that there are several different fixes for the flutter, too bad I cannot find one anywhere, even after calling Lund to see if they had any back stock laying around. I plan on ordering the Areo ll that screws in (Don't like the taped on kind). I will try FABMAV's suggestion and call real turck and try to get a discount. 🤟

I have this one and love it. Got it from my dealer when I was there having them look at a windshield crack from a rock hit 12 days after I bought the truck. Hardly any bugs/debris get on my windshield now.

I was there about a year later and had them look up the part #, VNZ6Z-16C900-C, and they had a couple that had been moved to storage in the off-road section for some reason. I should have bought an extra. Maybe I'll go back this week and see if they are still there, but I highly doubt it.

I bought the Areoshield Bugflector II about a year ago. I would still be interested if you find another one.

I just stopped by the dealer and had them check for that part number, they do not have it in stock anymore. He said it showed one at a dealer in Richland, Texas, but it showed one in stock zero available so not sure what that means.

The Areo shield Bugflector II is the only one that I know of that mounts with push pins to the underside of the hood. I will try to post a photo of the mounting soon.
