Hey all, as I wait for my Maverick to arrive I was wondering, what is your best mod you did that cost $100 or less? Looking for ideas on what to do on a budget.
Tint was $100. Letters were 30, lots of good items. Some Mud flaps tailgate assist, console tray, cargo net

Some simple things:

Center console trays / Glovebox divider
Screen protector.
Stubby antenna.
Tailgate letter inserts.
How is the reception with stubby? I use podcast addict or Pandora 99.99% of the time but you never know lol

I live rural and specifically in an area with no cell service. It's never been a problem anymore than it was before. It's not "that stubby"... ;)

I also contacted RallyArmor who makes mudflaps and they said there will be some for the Maverick. Otherwise, Amazon has tons of cheaper OEM versions or RokBlokz as well. As someone with the RB's... I'd recommend going for the cheaper OEM style ones.
I look forward to the rally armor!

1.) Blue Sea Systems 4363 12v outlet (in flexbed cubby) - $45
2.) Screen protector/anti-glare - $23
3.) Towel Seat cover (if you sweat) - $24
4.) Stubby antenna (if you haul stuff on roof) - $20

No cosmetic mods here and no "tailgate assist" either. Just meat and potatoes. The stubby is just o.k. The stock antenna is way better. Also, if I could do over, I'd get a better towel seat cover.
Is there a glare in the screen or just added bonus of the screen protector?

Well, they are more than $100, but IMHO, the TuxMat's (Link to Hybrid ones and Ecoboost ones) have been my favorite floor liners out of them all for multiple vehicles now. I have the HuskyLiner X-Act Contour's because someone put them in before me, but I invested in them on a previous Tacoma and was not impressed over the course of a couple years with them.

I'm usually a fan of the softer rubber floor mats too, but they warped the same as the harder plastic versions (WeatherTechs, Weatherbeaters and the cheaper knock-off's from Amazon). I'm not fond of those cheap hard plastic style ones like the Weathertechs at all. They always warp and their coverage is not what it used to be.

If you got OEM rubber mats, don't bother investing in the cheap plastic kinds. Also, the HuskyLiners have some serious plastic cutting spikes on the bottom of them and it will definitley ruin the carpet the more you take them out and clean them. Spend the extra, get the TuxMats and never look back.

What do you mean by extra bed cubby? And tailgate letter is definitely on my list!
My XLT came with one bed cubby on passenger side, added one to drivers side for $40+tax. Keeps road dirt off the back of tail light on that side. Moved the outlet to inside the new cubby. Also another cheap mod was the tailgate gap cover (rubber piece)

Kia mirror, bed divider (2x6 cut to width).

Also tonneau cover. Went with the OEM soft roll-up, it was about $210 after Ford pass points. It's not going to last forever but if I get 5years out of I'll be happy.

How would you say the quality is compared to weather tech or husky liner?
I'm also a big fan of the Smartliners. Great build quality, durable, easy to clean, they fit perfect, and they don't feel slippery. They're also cheaper than the other liners I compared to. As others mentioned, just make sure you buy the correct ones, because the rear floor mats are different in the ecoboost as opposed to the hybrid (the front floor mats are the same size).

One other thing, if you're looking for cheap mods, keep your eye on your local Facebook marketplace and/or Craigslist because sometimes you can find great deals. I just got an OEM bed extender for $80 and some Bronco Sport wheels, but I've also seen tonneau covers for pretty cheap as well.

Ones I’ve done so far:
Bed cubbies ($44x2, but shipped was just over $100)
Matte black trim part around radio controls. $20 on Amazon.
