Anyone know if there is enough space behind the rear seats to store folding chairs and other items? By what I see with the hybrid there is no way its gonna fit under the seat. Just wondering if I'm gonna have to buy a bed box to store items like this? Thanks

From the images posted, I don't think you'll get anything like a folding chair back there with the seat in the normal position. Maybe some real thin items. It looks like the seat back latches to the back wall, so it would interfere with large items.

I've complied an incomplete list of items you can store behind the rear seat:

1) Board games (not in the box mind you)
2) a deck of cards
3) arrows (lots of arrows)
4) printer paper (1/4 ream)
5) a 4 x 6 tarp (unfolded)
6) a map
7) a kite
8) a tennis racket

We used to have something like this in my old Army unit... Except it had a cut-out in the seat, and had some plastic bags to contain the "waste matter"... Worked great, except for that one time when a helicopter hovered nearby, and the rotor wash caused the sand beneath one side to erode, tipping the seat's occupant into the cholla cactus that was the "screen" around the improvised restroom... 36 cactus spines had to get pulled out - with pliers, no less - and the trooper was unable to sit comfortably for a solid week.
