unfortunately, the rain doesn't listen to me all that well when I am driving...
True, but it hasn’t rained since I got my maverick so I have no clue on that.

Thanks for the update - I think "only leaks at the tailgate" avoids telling the whole story in your case - I think we would like to figure out ways to mitigate the issue (mine's really not that bad, but I know it can be improved. Hopefully without epoxy!)

Well i am assuming There is No way to make it not leak at the corners unless extra stripping or epoxy.

I have the Ford hard roll-up... It leaked along the tailgate regardless of how I adjusted it. I ran a strip of side molding on the edge of the tailgate and it made a big difference. There is still somewhat of a leak on the corners but the tailgate seals so much better.

It goes under the glass which is awesome - the seal is a bit bumpy and not yet flush since it hasn't been in the sun
Would you might measuring the length of your rails?
Yours are closer to the glass and closer to the tailgate than might. They seem longer than mine. My box indicates it was just made in July.

Just got my X4S today; returned the Pro X15.

Anyone else’s tailgate ‘hit‘ the end of the cover and ‘force’ it up a little when tailgate closes?

The rails had shims on them already, near the top. Seems that causes the rails to tip down slightly; which might be the cause.

Do your latches get slightly caught on the rear latches? Thinking I might need to move the rails closer to the tailgate. Which would mean the front bracket won’t be contacting the bed.

I did not have to do this on my Maverick, but had to do exactly this on my brother-in-law’s F150 with the X4S

I installed mine yesterday. Fit was perfect, front seal tucked under the glass, tailgate closes easily. However both plastic corners were broken. I contacted them and they are supposed to ship new ones. I also plan to glue the corners one since they are easily broken.

Glad yours went smoothly. Did the rails have ‘foam’ shims on the back of the rails already (closer to the top)?

I posted this on another thread but I used J-B Weld Plastic Bonder in black to permanently attach the plastic caps on the end. I think it's a much better option than just using some super glue.
