not saying how accurate this is, but in the past there was a discussion about the rooftop antenna. Seems the lariat w/lux vehicles have a slightly different antenna that is used for XM, GPS, Cell, AM/FM. Maybe a swap out of the antenna, run an XM cable, etc., probably alot of work. (just throwing it out there as a thought, since Blue1005 sorta mentioned XM above) Hopefully i didnt mis-interpret.....

not free if you have to pay for a data plan for it.... And yes where I LIVE ATT IS SHYTE for hours in each direction. It woud be better engineered to work with a sim card swap in the glove box or something that lets you choose carrier, and not everyone has a ton of hotspot attached to their phone.
Fordpass is 100% free. We are trying to tell you to stop trying to pay for the hotspot service. Just use your phone.
