Oh, balls. I shouldn't have posted my earlier comment. Cause then this happens:

Probably pointless to waste ANY time calling Ford at this point. I went through that weeks ago. Was promised I would get an email in three days. Nothing! Dealer is still telling me they are having trouble with emails (whatever that means) but assures me I am in the system. Obviously, whatever system or plans Ford started out with have been completely blown out of the water. I think we all have to develop our own system that keeps us from constantly coming onto this forum, and regularly checking our email - just to retain some sense of sanity.

Shhh ... don't remind Ford that I know, but I am scheduled for next week. Maybe they will forget, and actually build it ....

We should have a poll on receive or not receive built dates
Ordered July 30, RR First Edition Hybrid Lariat most of the extras. No build date, just cricket's. I look at it this way, there are over 100,000 pre orders and approximately 2,300:eek:n this forum, do the math,🤔🤔 just saying how many orders have gone to people not on this forum??

There are over 100,000 reservations, not pre-orders. The best estimate is 30,000 orders, based on a reputable dealer on this forum.

So, here I am, a month after my original scheduled build date. The date has now been scheduled for next week, which is sooner than the last build date I had. I am hoping this one sticks. This is the 5th build date I have gotten since August.

Well, I loved the price point of the Maverick. I was very excited to get own the truck. However, about 3 weeks ago I went and drove another unibody pickup, the 2022 Ridgeline, and I loved it. It’s roomier, the bed is somewhat larger, the trunk under the bed is WONDERFUL, it’s engine is proven, and its a Honda. I canceled my order and purchased the Ridgeline. I’m giving up some gas mileage and I’m paying some more, but I LOVE my truck. I saw a Maverick in a Walmart parking lot and I can say I am happy with my decision. I know I will go back and forth in the coming months when I start seeing more Mavericks on the road…it’s a great looking truck.
