I'm hoping it does change color. My wife has a silver/white Tiguan. You drive to the mall in a white car come out to find a gray one. Kind of fun. This color is like a chameleon in photos. I hope it ends up looking more blue than gray in person. Haven't had a chance to see it except in videos and images.
My wife has a 2019 Jetta with that “ice white” color (think that’s the name) and it’s crazy how much it changes! It’s like a completely different color in some light.I'm hoping it does change color. Its a pretty killer deal if you aren’t hung up on the lack of extra creature comforts. It’s got everything you need. So…I may have just bought an A51 2WD XL…been waiting on a build date for my FE AWD in Rapid Red and realistically it prob won’t be here until Feb/Mar next year. We needed a second (reliable) car so today I started looking around for something used in the 20k range that I could simply trade in when my Mav finally arrives…as I’m looking around, I figure I’ll check and see what my Ford dealer has and boom they have an XL A51 for 23k. Did the entire thing online since it’s after hours but got financing approval and a pickup scheduled for tomorrow night.
Guess I’ll find out tomorrow if I’m really joining the A51 club…and then to decide what to do with my other order…
Congratulations dud!!!Holy crap I have a build date! XLT Hybrid Lux/C360 A51 ordered 7-16-21, scheduled 12-13-21.
That's what I figured...what originally got me interested in the Mav was the "back-to-basics" of it...then I started adding options...Its a pretty killer deal if you aren’t hung up on the lack of extra creature comforts. It’s got everything you need.
First, I'd almost rather have your garage than the Mav.Ok well 300 plus miles today after picking it up . So some things I'm disappointed in but I have to be realistic I'm coming from a loaded 2019 Blazer and the only complaints with that was some window seals that liked to creak .
So the drive home MPG for the AWD Eco was 28.4 at 76 mph most a the way home.
Adaptive cruise works nicely.
Lane assistance was hesitant on this feature I had my hand gently griping the wheel it took off a lot of driver fatigue.
When engaged the lane assistance alert vibrates the steering wheel.
Coming from a very strong V6...your not going to have to worry about quickness...this thing has some dam pep. It small and light people.
Added the bug shield
De zee tailgate assist
My bungee net I had in other suv.
Very odd the windshield wipers you can barley pull the arms away from windshield...they hit the hood see pics
The bad that hood has vibration near the windshield I have seen some post on this haven't seen a fix or TSB..probably go to a dealer to report this.
The interior is gonna scratch easily...that could be a bummer for me with my OCD in cars.
B&O sound system sounds great
I do wish the front of the seat right behind your knees would adjust down it does not.
My son didn't car for the
Passengers seat adjustment for tilt being right on top of seat belt...I can't confirm this issue didn't sit in that seat.
For now that enough...I'm tired was a long day. Here is some more pics
Where did you get the mud flaps?
